Giuseppe Torrisi
Giuseppe Torrisi was born in Catania in 2002. He approached the study of piano at the age of 14, attending courses held at the “Rachmaninov Academy” from the very beginning. He later entered the “Vincenzo Bellini” Conservatory of Catania under the guidance of M. Corrado Ratto. He is currently continuing his studies at the “Francesco Morlacchi” Conservatory in Perugia under the guidance of M. Massimo Spada. He also attends, in Rome, chamber music courses at the international school “Avos Project,” taught by prominent musicians of clear reputation such as Mario Montore, David Romano, Alessio Pianelli, Mirei Yamada. He has taken part in several masterclasses with pianist Violetta Egorova. He also routinely takes part in master classes held by renowned pianist Beatrice Rana at “Avos Project.” For several years now he has been attending the summer courses of “Villa Pennisi in Musica” in which he has had opportunities to perform as a soloist. He made his debut in 2022 within the concert season “IUC” (Istituzione Universitaria dei Concerti) sponsored by the University “Sapienza di Roma” in a concert dedicated to music by Chopin.
