Federica Raja
Federica obtained her master’s degree with top marks and honors in Opera singing at the Conservatory of Music “F. Morlacchi” in Perugia under the guidance of M. Michela Sburlati. She has attended masterclass with Mietta Sighele, Barbara Frittoli, Ian Bostridge. She is corrently perfecting her studies with Mariangela Sicilia at the Avos Project International School of Music in Rome. She performed roles as Liù in Turandot (Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Musikalische Komödie in Leipsig and others), Adina in Elisir d’amore, Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, Gretel and der Sandmann in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, Ännchen in Weber’s Freischutz, Belinda in Dido and Eneas. She is also very active in chamber music and oratorio music, she performed as a soloist in Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis with the “Cremona Antiqua Ensemble” conducted by M. Antonio Greco, in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, in Buxtehude’s Membra Jesu Nostri, in Valentino Bucchi’s Laudes evangelii. In 2021 Federica was one of the winners of “International Riccardo Zandonai Competition”. Then, in 2023 she received the “Donizetti Prize” at the “Claudio Desderi Competition. She performed as a choir singer in several concerts conducted by M. Riccardo Muti for the Ravenna Festival and Muti Opera Academy (Macbeth, Beethoven’s Ninth Symohony, Nabucco and Verdi’s Requiem). In November she will be Lauretta in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi at the Wexford Festival (Ireland).
