Benedetta Iannuzziello

Born in Matera in 1997, Benedetta started playing the piano at the age of eight, at LAMS School of Music. She then pursued her studies at the Conservatory of Music “G. Da Venosa” in Potenza, under the guidance of M. Michelangelo Carbonara, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in 2018 and her master’s degree in 2020, both of them with top marks and honours. She has attended piano masterclasses with Professors Pietro De Maria, Benedetto Lupo, Vincenzo Maltempo, Riccardo Risaliti, and Alessandro Deljavan, and chamber music masterclasses with Professors Bruno Canino, Rafael Rosenfeld, and Julius Drake. In 2014 she performed as a guest in the TV show “I fatti vostri”, broadcasted on Rai 2, during the bit dedicated to young talents. She has performed both as a soloist and as part of a chamber orchestra in the church of S. Maria in Montesano in Rome, the Royal Chapel of Naples’s Cathedral, the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome, and the Scarlatti Hall of the Conservatory of Naples. In 2019 she performed as a soloist with the KLK Symphony Orchestra in the Concert Hall of Lviv National Philharmonic, conducted by M. Pascal Van Os. Benedetta is currently attending a Master in Chamber Music at Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. She is also perfecting her piano and chamber music studies with the Avos Quartet at the Avos Project International School of Music.
