Carlotta Libonati
A pupil of Luca Sanzò, she was born in October 1996 in Rome. She graduated from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory with Maestro Luca Sanzò, with whom she chose to continue enrolling in the two-year course in Viola which she finished with honors and honorable mention. She currently attends the advanced specialization course in chamber music at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia and the chamber music course with Avos Chamber Music Project. You participated as a soloist at the ViolaFest in Siena and in “Santa Cecilia in Via Giulia” at the Off Off Theater. Since 2019 you have been part of the PMCE (Parco della Musica Contemporanea Ensemble) staff with which you have had the opportunity to play with international artists such as Bryce Dessner and Katia and Marielle Labèque. Passionate about contemporary music, she has already undertaken the study and performed at her graduation, pieces by Luciano Berio and the piece dedicated to her by Silvia Lanzalone with which she made her debut at the ArteScienza Festival. You also participate in the Festival at the presentation of “Codes at strokes”, an exhibition of the adaptive sculptural-musical work of Licia Galizia sculpture and Michelangelo Lupone music and pianophones. You participated in the numerous 1: 1 concerts created by the group formed by Stephanie Winker, Franziska Ritter, Christian Siegmund and Sophie von Mansberg during the pandemic period. She participated alone and in a duo with Luca Sanzò, in the review of the online concerts of the Amici della musica in Ancona. You recently played at the Rome Chamber Music Festival. Still in the field of contemporary music, you gave a concert for the “Assoli” review of the Roman Philharmonic Academy.
